Todoroki Wadaiko from Würzburg / Lower Franconia has been active since 2008, playing japanese taiko drumming in traditional and modern styles. Since 2011, the group has been part of Waraku-kai Shou from Tokyo/Yokohama.
The group stands for authentic taiko art with a direct connection to its japanese parent group. Powerful and precise rhythms, clear aesthetics, and a strong stage presence characterize their performances. With great passion, Todoroki Wadaiko presents original compositions and choreographies at concerts, festivals, and workshops.
Since 2016, there has also been a sister group in Nuremberg.
