Taiko Care – Care spray for drumheads

A cowhide drumhead shows signs of use over time. Sweat, dust, and moisture from hands leave stains and darkening on the head. This is part of playing, but can be well managed with proper care.

Taiko Care is a cleaning spray specially developed for the leather heads of Taiko drums. It removes dirt and discoloration without depriving the leather of its natural suppleness. This is made possible by a formula based on natural ingredients that cleans and nourishes at the same time. Normal water would rather damage the leather, as it hardens and becomes brittle. Taiko Care is designed to prevent this.

Application is simple: apply the spray to a soft cloth and gently wipe the drumhead from the outside in. Then let the drum dry completely in a shady, well-ventilated place. A small amount is enough for a single drumhead; with 300 ml, you'll be set for a long time with regular care.
